MUGSHOT UPDATE: Lindsay Lohan arrested for DUI in Santa Monica
She's charged with driving under the influence for a second time
Lindsay Lohan was arrested again at 2.15am this morning after police stopped her white four-wheel drive in Santa Monica, California.
A white powdery substance is alleged to have been found in the actress's possession.
The 21-year-old has now been charged with two counts of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended licence.
She was held for four hours before being released on bail of more than £12,000. Police released this mugshot of the Hollywood star.
Officers say that they were called after Lindsay allegedly chased her personal assistant who had resigned and driven away with her mother.
Lindsay is already facing a charge of suspected DIU after her Mercedes crashed in May.
She surrendered to Beverly Hills police to be formally booked earlier this month and is due to appear in court on 24 August.
After her stint in Promises rehab centre, the Mean Girls actress has been wearing a SCRAM (secure continuous remote alcohol monitoring device) on her ankle but her lawyer admitted it had been removed.
